opengl 3.3 intel driver download

I get this error: "Failed to get a valid download for package file! Error opening intel_opengl_loader_3.3.0-1.x86_64.rpm" If you're trying to install the opengl driver and get this message, then probably you don't have the rpm or dpkg version of linux installed on your operating system, and need to reinstall it before getting any further with your opengl installation process. I just reinstalled a brand-new blank hard drive from the manufacturer's operating system discs and I still get the same error. What do I have to do? In this case, it is very probable you don't have the i386 architecture installed in your system. First check this with: lscpu | grep i686If you get an error, that means that the i386 architecture is not installed on your system. You have to install it before being able to install any other package on your system. How do I do that? To install the i386 architecture, you can go to the MariaDB download page and download the appropriate MariaDB package for your operating system: Once you've downloaded and installed it, check if it's really installed: *# lscpu | grep i686 If everything is all right, you should see this output at the end of your terminal session. Now you are ready to install 3D applications using the opengl driver. RMIR does not have an icon in my notifications area! How do I fix this? You have to add RMIR as a startup item. To do so, go to your system Start menu -> All Programs -> Startup or just create a new shortcut in your desktop. RMIR Path: Linux 32bit: /usr/bin/RMIR Linux 64bit: /usr/bin64/RMIRLinux 32bit example menu item name "RMI-32" : Linux 64bit example menu item name "RMI-64": Starting from Nvidia 260.19 driver version, the Nvidia binary driver does not present the correct version of the OpenGL API to Qt applications through OpenGL profiles anymore. It's working only through the OpenGL 2.1 API, which was deprecated in 10 November 2011. If you are using recent Qt 4.7.4 version, the correct OpenGL version is set by default to 4.2. Some NVIDIA Open Source drivers don't have this switchen, so you have to set it manually to 2.1:To do so, open a terminal and enter: The problem is caused by a bug in the Nvidia driver on some Linux distributions (see the FAQ section of this page). Luckily this driver is not used since version 260 from a few years ago and support has been dropped for that driver on that system with kernel 3. eccc085e13
